Kyau and Albert
Reverse Timeline with the story of Kyau and Albert 2007 Setting up their label in the early 1997 meant that 2007 was the 10th year of Euphonic. To toast the label’s on-going success, Kyau & Albert set off on a year-long tour to celebrate their decade of dance. On the singles side they collaborated with Marc Marberg on the hugely received ‘Megashira’ and thus far have also found time to release ‘Always a Fool’ in April and ‘7 Skies’ in August. 2006 In the spring of 2006 they released the double-A single "Walk Down’/’Kiksu", the former proving so popular that it got its own video. In the Autumn, after nearly 2 years of hard work, the 2nd album "Worldvibe" hits the shops, backed by the single "Are You Fine?". Off the back of one of their busiest years to date, the pair explode into the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs chart for the first time, landing at No.48. 2005 The single "Made Of Sun/Falling Anywhere" is released in Germany on Euphonic and also comes out in the UK on Anjunabeats. The single becomes a worldwide club hit and Kyau and Albert’s biggest success so far. In the Spring Kyau & Albert release their first mix compilation "Positive Ways 4". Later they mix one CDs of the Technoclub compilation series. The album "Here We Are Now" also gets a release in the USA, Russia and Asia and brings them many new fans. Kyau vs. Albert tour around the globe and start to work on their 2nd album. 2004 In January the single "Velvet Morning" was released on Anjunabeats in the UK, quickly followed by "Not With You”, which featured singer Julie Lutat on vocals. In July this song enters the German single sales charts at 93. In August, and after almost a year of hard work, the debut album "Here We Are Now" is released in Germany. Kyau vs. Albert also remix "Jump The Next Train" by Young Parisians. The song goes on to become a worldwide club hit…. 2003 In March their first long-player called "Review" is released - a compilation of their best productions and remixes. The CD becomes Record of the Month in the German Raveline magazine and "Album of the week" at Sunshine Live Radio. They go on to produce their single "Velvet Morning", which enters the German single sales charts at number 74 2002 As the beginning of the year the pair complete the recording of the single "Save Me". Kyau vs. Albert produce several remixes for other artists in the meantime and in August 2002 "Save Me" enters the German single sales charts at number 44. 2001 The single and video of "Outside" hits the air and TV waves while Paul van Dyk plays the single several times and invites the guys on to his radio show. "Outside" becomes a massive radio hit and enters the German single sales charts at number 74. This is followed by remix requests from, among others. Kosheen and leads the way towards their first TV gigs. The guys are now on the road as both a live & DJ act, nearly every week of the year and are working hard on their new single "Save Me". 2000 The single "Great/Loebau" enters the German Dance Charts in January, promoted by several German radio stations. German major WEA Records (Warner Music) shows interest in Kyau vs. Albert and they begin a cooperation that will last 3 years. 1999 A house production of Ralph and Moebius (Moebius AG "Do what I want") becomes a club hit and enters the German Dance Charts 1998 The guys produce various tracks under a variety of pseudonyms. The first Euphonic label compilation "We Come in Peace" is released, while Kyau vs. Albert start to develop a following as a live act. 1997 In the spring of 1997, Ralph & Steven found their record label Euphonic. Rough Mullar (aka Sonorous) and Ronski Speed are signed to the imprint. With the solid foundation of Euphonic, Moebius and Ralph are finally able to present their music to the public audience.
